The studio will be rented in blocks of time as follows: one-hour minimum (at $75 an hour), hours or 1⁄2 hours (at $37.50 a half hour) increments can follow. Discounts follow as is after five hours $350, six hours $400, 7 hours $450, 8 hours $500, 9 hours $550 and 10 hours $600. Paid rental time periods must include time for early arrival (if applicable) and setup/cleanup time. Space is not guaranteed until payment is made and the Rental Agreement has been completed by the renter. Your rental time-frame must include set-up and take-down of all props, equipment, decorations, food prep, table and chair set-up, plus clean-up etc. Total hours used are calculated from access time or scheduled access time until exit time. If you come early or leave late you will be charged for the extra time and the invoice needs to be paid with-in 24 hours. Payment: Renters will be required to pay in full before the time of each rental period. Renters must pay for all studio rental time before the time it is used and to reserve the slot requested. The spot is not secured till payment is made. Cancellations: For hourly rentals there is a 30% deposit of the total amount that is non-refundable if canceled with less then 72 hours notice and the entire amount is non-refundable if canceled the same day as the rental time. For 6+ hourly rental times there is a 50% deposit of the total amount that is non-refundable if canceled with two weeks or less notice and the entire amount is non-refundable if canceled with 72 hours or less notice. If you paid by card and want a refund you will not be refunded the processing fee affiliated with the third party processing company of 2.99% + .30 of the total amount. If you want a credit for future rentals the processing fee will not be subtracted from the credit. Studio 1918 may cancel or reschedule your rental time for any reason, with a full refund given to the renter in the case of a cancellation on studio 1918's behalf. Props: Props need to be constructed in such a way that they do not cause damage to the studio walls and flooring, please pick up furniture to move them especially on the all white flooring. Please do not use glitter or confetti in the space unless previously discussed with the studio. Storage: Renters may not store any equipment, props or personal belongings anywhere in the studio, hallways or bathrooms after your rental has ended. Keys: Renters agree not to inform any person(s) of the code for the studio door. Security: Each renter assumes responsibility for the security of the space during each rental period. The studio is video & auto recorded 24/7 for security purposes in the main areas and NOT in the kitchenette or bathrooms. If you'd prefer video to not be recorded in the main area durning the rental times just contact the studio. Emergencies: For any emergency situations including accidents, health crises, criminal activities, or fire call 911. There is no phone available at the studio. It is advised to have a cell phone. Damage: Each renter will assume full responsibility for any damage caused to any part of the hallways, entryways, studio, kitchenette, bathrooms, floors, windows, mirrors, walls, ceilings, furniture and all other props and equipment etc. sustained during the renter’s scheduled studio time and time in the building, each renter agrees to pay in full for repair or replacement of any item or structure damaged by the renters or guests invited to the studio by the renter. Full payment for damage shall be made within one month of the damage, studio will provide proof of costs. Liability: Each renter assumes liability for injury of any person(s) they invite to the space, including but not limited to: injury to self, guests invited by the renter in the renter’s time-frame and injury to anyone invited to the space during the rental time. Housekeeping: Each renter assumes responsibility for returning the studio to a good working state before they leave. Put all furniture and props back where you found them. All lights and electrical equipment must be turned off. If a lot of trash from your time, please remove It to the back dumpster in the parking lot. Please sweep if necessary and leave the studio in the best possible condition for the next user. If the space is left in poor/unclean condition there will be a $75 cleaning fee due with-in 24 hours of the rental time. Parking: Free street parking in-front of the building and a free parking lot in the back south side of the building, also around the shed in the back south side of the lot, amount of available slots depends on the time of day and day of the week. Studio Hours: Rentals can be made any day of the week or time of the day. The studio is available to rent 24/7, 365 days of the year.
